There are a lot of cafes that you can find in Kuala Lumpur. You can visit the VCR, Dotty’s Pastries & Coffee, Breakfast Thieves, and Birch. And, if you want to be extra adventurous, you can go to Merchant’s Lane, which is a coffee shop that is hidden in the city.
The only way for you to get inside would be to ask the locals where it is located. But, I can give you a hint: It is located right beside a local newspaper stand.
Eat Some Street Foods
Back when I was in Kuala Lumpur a few years ago, I’ve gained quite a lot of weight. That is because there are plenty of different foods that you can find in the city.
You can go to the different food hotspots such as Taman Connaught, Jalan Alor, Petaling Street Night Market, Tapak Urban Dining, and Lot 10 Hutong food court, to name a few.
These places are lined with different food stalls that are influenced by a variety of different cultures. Whether you want some spicy Indian foods or if you just want to try out some Chinese cuisine, you can find it in Kuala Lumpur’s famous food hotspots.
Menara Kuala Lumpur
Known by locals simply as the KL Tower, the Menara Kuala Lumpur is the 7th tallest telecommunications tower in the world.
It has a restaurant known as Atmosphere 360 that is situated in the topmost levels of the structure. Because of that, you can see a clear overlooking view of the entire city.
Firefly Boat Ride
Kuala Selangor is just an hour’s drive away from the main city. If you are fond of fireflies and you want to be engulfed and enchanted by its presence, then you definitely have to try the Firefly boat ride along the river.
Do keep in mind that the entire trip is a bit expensive, not to mention that you have to ask the driver to wait for you since there is no public transportation from the said place after 6 PM.
People who are fond of vlogging and taking pictures for social media will surely love to gander at the Batu Caves.
Although the caves are magical in their own right, it is actually the rainbow-colored steps that will grab the attention of anyone who goes to that place.
